Land of Poets: International Festival in Lviv

This autumn, on November 7–8, 2026, the “Land of Poets” International Festival—conceived by Mariana Savka—will take place in Lviv at !FESTrepublic (24/26 Staroznesenska St.) for the third time. For two days, a dedicated realm of poetry will emerge, featuring four stages, hundreds of voices, and unexpected encounters and formats where the spoken word transcends the boundaries of its traditional form.

The central theme of the 2026 festival is “Ukrainian Titans: New Myth-Making.” Attendees will find themselves at the epicenter of creating a modern Ukrainian myth, where archaic elements meet digital technology, lyricism meets logic, poetry meets binary code, veteran theater meets live music, and the classical meets the contemporary—blending tradition with innovation.

A diversity of genres and performers: “Land of Poets” will bring together stars from the worlds of poetry, music, and theater, representing a wide range of generations and artistic schools.

Among the poets and artists featured at the festival are top Ukrainian names: Yuriy Izdryk, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Oleksandr Irvanets, Kateryna Kalytko, Artur Dron, Yevhen Nyshchuk, Rymma Ziubina, Rostyslav Semkiv, Olha Olkhova, Maryna Ponomarenko, Pavlo Vyshebaba, Pavlo Matiusha, Yuriy Matevoshchuk, Mariana Savka, Halyna Kruk, Yuliya Musakovska, Marianna Kiyanovska, and others.

Renowned international poets will also arrive in Lviv: Carolyn Forché (USA), Lina Ekdahl (Sweden), Krzysztof Czyżewski (Poland), as well as authors from Estonia, Croatia, and Lithuania.

The festival’s musical lineup will feature: Oleksandr Polozhynskyi, the vocal group "Pikkardiyska Tertsiya," Solomiya Chubay, the "Zbyti Rymy" (Broken Rhymes) cultural and artistic project, and the "Dudaryk" Men's Choral Capella.

The mission of "Land of Poets" remains unchanged: to awaken national identity through the power of the Ukrainian word. After all, poetry is one of the ways to shape the future. The festival will traditionally hold a fundraiser for the Ukrainian military. This time— to the Main Directorate of Intelligence: Active Operations Department.

Early-bird ticket pricing applies in September. Prices will increase starting October 7, 2026. The next price increase will occur on the first day of the festival, November 7, 2026.

Free admission to the festival applies to the following categories of visitors:
— military personnel;
— pensioners;
— children aged 12 and under.
