Jacobus Gladziwa in Lviv!
On January 25-26, 2024, we invite you to attend a magical concert of organ music at the House of Organ and Chamber Music in Lviv. The German virtuoso Jacobus Gladziwa will impress with an extraordinary program of exquisite baroque music by Jean-Baptiste Lully and our contemporary, Ukrainian composer Leonid Hrabovsky.

This is not the first time that the Berlin-based organ virtuoso has performed in Ukraine during the Russian aggression. He is a musician who has a deep and keen sense of Ukrainian music and always tries to include works by Ukrainian composers in his programs. This concert will be no exception. Jacobus Gladziva will perform the world premiere of Leonid Hrabovsky's work for solo organ “STR-O(r)GAN”. The piece was written in 2020 and will be performed live on the largest historical organ in Ukraine, the Rieger-Kloss, in the House of Organ and Chamber Music in Lviv.
The work will be surrounded by the gentle music of French composer Jean-Baptiste Lully, performed by soloists of the “Homin” Choir to the accompaniment of the organ.
