About the show
For many composers of the past, forbidden love was a source of both inspiration and distress. Joy and despair permeate not only their chamber music, but also private letters.
The chamber concert, featuring Zoryana Kushpler, a soloist with the Vienna Opera, and her sister, a pianist, Olena Kushpler, in a duet performance, will be complemented by extracts from letters written by Franz Xaver Mozart to Josephine von Baroni-Cavalcabò, as well as letters by Richard Wagner to Mathilde Wesendonck and others read by Nataliya Rybka-Parkhomenko, an actress of the Les Kurbas Theatre.
